Vierte Welle Festival

Introduction

The Vierte Welle Film Festival is an international feminist film festival based in Berlin, Germany. Since 2019, the festival has served as a vital platform for underrepresented filmmakers who identify as women, transmasculine, and non-binary (FLINTA*). Rooted in the principles of fourth-wave feminism, the festival highlights intersectionality, amplifies marginalized voices, and challenges gender inequalities through the transformative power of cinema.

Our mission is to inspire dialogue, foster inclusivity, and create a space where diverse stories can thrive. With a rich program of screenings, workshops, and discussions, Vierte Welle empowers artists and audiences alike to envision a more just and equitable future.
