About Flame Zine
Flame Zine arises with the idea of giving visibility to artists around the world who work on different topics that question ourselves as transfeminists. We believe it’s important to generate from self-publication a space that can serve as a channel of information, expression, and artistic exchange. We strongly encourage submissions from artists who experience multiple forms of oppression from Migrants, Black, Indigenous, and people of color communities as well as artists with disabilities, queer, trans, and non-binary/gender-nonconforming people.
Art and edition: Maria Victoria Rodriguez and Carla Abiles
About Pasajero del Muro
Pasajero del Muro is an initiative that was born in November 2018 with the idea of promoting and creating a space for poetry among the Spanish-speaking community in Berlin.
Since then, we have been organizing monthly open-mic meetings and creative writing workshops, to encourage participants to create their own texts.
We always have worked with concepts, for that, every event and lab are accompanied by a word, with the idea of using concepts as triggers in their written creativity and furthermore see the different interpretations that the same concept makes in every writer. Also, our philosophy is writing as a means of self-knowledge, so everyone is welcome in our activities to discover themselves throughout the poetry.
In addition to this, we try to give an external voice to our community through collaborations with different magazines and media, with the aim of motivating them in their writing.
